Description:
Marc Sleen is a living icon of Belgian comic strips. His work can be seen at the rue des Sables in Brussels, just opposite the Belgian Comic Strip Centre.
In the unique setting of a former newspaper agency, the Marc Sleen Museum presents:
- a permanent exhibition on the work and life of Marc Sleen
- a reading point where you can flick through his books
- a cycle of temporary exhibitions showing the multiple facets of his extraordinary work
Extra information
The Rue des Sables wasn't chosen by chance. On this same street, some metres further, Marc Sleen had a studio where he created Néron, his most famous and loved character, in 1947.
Guided visits for groups from 15 to 25 persons only by reservation a couple of weeks before.
Tickets can be purchased at the Belgian Comic Strip Centre, just opposite the Marc Sleen Museum.
The museum is only partially accessible to wheelchairs.
