Description:
The Brussels museum of Industry and Labour was created following the initiative of La Fonderie, Centre for economical and social history of the Brussels region, and located in the Halle des Tourneurs, workshop of the former "Compagnie des Bronzes de Bruxelles". It presents temporary exhibitions, which evoke the economical, social and industrial life of Brussels and its inhabitants based on a historical analysis and an original approach.
A few examples of exhibitions: Fabrique d'Art (on the work of the Compagnie des Bronzes); Tour et Taxis; En avant pour le suffrage universel; Molenbeek, récits de ville...
Extra information
Opening hours during temporary exhibitions. Tuesday to Friday from 10 am to 5 pm - Weekends from 2 pm to 5 pm. Closed on Monday.
Guided visits for groups by reservation.
